***Update****Northeastern Fence over sold and way under delivered. I was told that I would have a professional installation after speaking at length with the salesman Paul. They sent a subcontractor squad of poorly skilled landscapers as installers. The installers were unfamiliar with what I discussed with the salesman, therefore unfamiliar with the job. They built the fence in front of and on top of my sprinkler heads and access box, hung panels and gates too high and unlevel, the whole fence wobbles in the wind and I'm losing entire sections in the wind. Although, they do come back to attempt to correct the shoddy work, I certainly did not get what I paid well over $12,000 for. Very Disappointed.They damaged 2 lines and multiple sprinkler heads during install as well

EDIT 2: I've adjusted the review to 5 stars because, with the benefit of hindsight, the quality of the fence is excellent. I'm pleased with the result and will be ordering more product from them soon. EDIT 1: I've adjusted my review and added a star because: 1) prompt response from the company; 2) offer to refund the restocking fee (I'm not interested in the refund - like I said, it wasn't a lot of money - but the offer is nice...although more transparency would have been better); and 3) overall it was a decent experience and I would purchase product from them again. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The good: - I stopped by to ask questions about fencing options and they were very knowledgeable and helpful (short of the very limited hours they are open - even before COVID issues mentioned below). - I scheduled a free at home consultation. The appointment was scheduled within a reasonable amount of time and the person that came to our house was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. - They provided a quote for two fencing options (aluminum and steel). They are not cheap, but the price was fair when I comparison shopped. - When I decided to order I was able to do everything over the phone. The fencing was ready within a reasonable amount of time (the gates are custom made so that takes a week or two). The bad: - Pickup and obtaining additional parts (hardware and connectors) was difficult because of COVID. Obviously the pandemic is not their fault, but given the already limited office hours there should be more structured availability. I can understand "first come first served" for walk-ins, but if you've ordered and paid then you should be able to schedule a time for pickup - instead of having to wait in line for an hour. - The "steel" fencing looks nice, but it's far from the rigid, strong, life-long material I was expecting. It feels more like a heavy duty aluminum. I'm not sure it was worth the extra money. - Even though they measured the area that needed to be fenced in, and then wrote a quote according to their measurements, at the end of the job there was an extra panel of fence. The panel was returned and a refund was given, but minus a RESTOCKING FEE. This was not a custom item, it was a stock panel of fencing. They will 100% resell this panel for full price. The "restocking fee" was not mentioned in the quote, during the time of purchase, or anywhere on their website or marketing materials (that I can find anyway). When you spend over $3K in materials, I don't expect to be nickel and dimed when returning a stock item - especially when it was purchased based on their own quote/estimate. This is the main reason for taking a few stars off. It wasn't a lot of money (it was only one panel though), it's the principal of it.

I been doing business with them for the past few years. They got the best fence. Whether if it's vinyl or chain link they got the best prices around

it has been a week since our fence was installed and we couldn't be happier. The whole experience from start to finish was so pleasant. Saugus was an interesting place to visit to see what goes on behind the scene of making a fence. We will certainly recommend N.E. Fence Co for quality, price and knowledgeable people working there. Thanks to N.E. Fence Co. for making our yard a much prettier place.
