Called this Meeks location to ask if they sold CMU blocks (the standard blocks that are sold everywhere....) and the woman on the phone said no. So there you have it, Meek's does not carry CMU blocks. Only, they do. One star for the employee who thought it was easier to tell a customer they don't carry it because she was too incompetent to check. Last time I called, I got an equally disturbing employee who told me very clearly that James Hardy fiber cement board does not pass California inspections (I never asked for this employee's input, only wanted a stock check). The employee was 100% incorrect and couldn't complete a simple stock check. Complete Fail. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE screen your hires better.....for the sake of you staying in business and so that I may one day purchase something from Meeks.

The yard staff was not helpful, he had music blaring that was profanity filled! His pants were half way down his legs! Was about to cancel my order and take my business else where more professional! Where i am not forced to listen to cuss words while i loading my own lumber . If he is the representative for Meeks than you lost my business.

One of their drivers with the licence plate 41505W2 was driving around 1 foot from people's bumpers and doing other reckless things. Insane behavior this guy should not be driving.

Great store! Friendly staff. Chuck is away helpful and fun to talk to. Help keep local stores open. Prices are pretty close to the box store. Best part is you only load your lumber once. You drive to the lumber you need and put in your truck. Lots better than loading a cart. Then taking it out to a busy parking lot and wrestle it into your truck.
