We rented Duffy's cottage, it sits right on the sand very very close to the ocean and was a very nice stay. A few things went wrong with the house while we were there but nothing that the staff couldn't help us with. Alex in the office is extremely polite, courteous, professional and responsive to questions. My parents rented a cottage called Clearview. The address is 14 Boston Ave which is two streets over and this is where we had a bad experience. Do not rent any cottage on Boston Ave through Harris. It sounds like Loretta owns three cottages and the parking lot that goes with them. Long story short she yelled at my husband because we were using the parking spaces. Loretta was unnecessarily rude and she was wrong. We paid for two cottages that came with four parking spaces in total, and we only used only our assigned parking spaces for the two cottages. Apparently There was another car parked in Loretta'sparking lot that didn't belong there and she blamed that on us. I called the office and spoke to Alex about it he listened and he was kind and he said he would speak to her. So again if you rent Clearview be prepared to be harassed by Loretta or ask Harris rentals for stickers to put on your cars and those of your guests

Recently rented a beach house and was very disappointed when we arrived to see the condition of our rental. The place was very dirty, the ceiling in one bedroom was collapsing/hanging down, there was graffiti all over the bedroom/bathroom walls, all appliances were old and dirty, the shower was falling apart and absolutely disgusting, there was no AC for the warmer days and no heat for the nights it was cold & rainy, the mattresses were so hard/old it was like sleeping on the floor and I wouldn’t be surprised if there was bedbugs, the list goes on and on. The pictures provided on their website were nothing close to the rental conditions. We will not be renting again through Harris Real Estate, I can’t see paying the amount they charge to live in those conditions! For future renters, make sure to ask for recent pictures and a list of amenities with the conditions of the appliances, or maybe ask to view the property before renting, it may save you a lot of money! P.s. I took multiple pictures of the property if anyone is interested in viewing the conditions of one of their rentals.
