Absolutely wonderful place for food, drinks, and good vibes. This is a hidden gem in Dripping Springs. The service was great, atmosphere was light, and everything you need in a good dining experience. Good was delicious and came out fast. Not our favorite steak/ frites but up there. Inside and outside areas, full bar, large booths, and dinner specials. Right up there with Carve and Oasthouse. We'll definitely be back!!

The League (Dripping Springs) was once our "go to" restaurant with both food & service consistently excellent. Not sure what happened, but it's gone significantly downhill. We went today and the servers and managers were unfriendly and apathetic. Our server had a haughty attitude, never once checked on us after dumping our food at the table, and forgot to order our onion rings. Two managers walked around the floor, acting busy, but not doing much. Neither one made eye contact with us or other patrons, and ignored our empty glasses and dirty dishes. Although there were only 3 other tables with people, we waited over an hour for the forgotten item onion rings. Finally, the sweet hostess checked on us again and made sure the order was turned in. She had to be around 19yrs. old, but was the only one that seemed to give a flip. The food was not as fresh or tasty either. Apparently their former chef (Robert?) is no longer there, so perhaps that is why their food quality is suffering. The place had the feel of an operation going out of business where nobody cares except the young girl at the hostess stand. We used to love that place.

TLDR: an average food experience, but had nice service and ambiance to help it along. Came here for dinner this past weekend. The ambiance of the place is nice. Lighting is a bit on the dim side, but it gives it a calmer atmosphere, and keeps the place from feeling like a generic sports bar. For the food, we got an appetizer of fried pickles. to be frank, these were a pretty big disappointment. the breading didn't adhere to them well, and the ones that held together only really tasted "alright". for my main, I had the "Southern Burger" and fries. The burger itself was pretty good. certainly not the best burger I had, but it stood up for itself, and was probably the best thing I had here. The fries were pretty miserable though, not sure if they were old or undercooked, but overall petty meh. I also had a large Guinness, which was you know... beer. Overall, they hit the big items well enough, I just feel like the small stuff got glided over, and at the prices they are charging, the small stuff is what I am paying for. food was probably a 3/5, service was a 4/5, but they get brought down a bit when you compare what you got vs. what you pay for. 3/5.

Highly recommend this place! Food is great and prices are on point!! Been here a few times and always great from the service to the food. Sit outside if you can. Great patio area.
