This place is HUGE! It's WAY bigger on the inside and you can get lost quickly! Cash only, everything half off the price inside the cover! Any and every genre you can imagine. From all types of sports, fiction, theatre, photography, gardening, cookbooks, psychology, crime, etc. They have everything! Don't come here looking for new + published books though! The oldest book I found here was from 1792! Vintage books, oldies, probably every James Patterson book known to man. It's a huge deal. They're open if the flag is out! Best bet is on weekends, but if you see the flag out on a weekday, stop in!

This place is great, just as advertised. They won't have everything you're looking for because it's a used bookstore. The prices are pretty good, you probably won't find any steals, they have a pretty good handle on what things are worth. There's even a pretty nice first addition section with more than a few gems on it. If you truly adore books you'll love it.

I have noted that two reviews gave low marks due to clutter and piles of books on the floor. I can appreciate that this may irritate some people. To me, FAR AND AWAY the most important factor is the range and quality of books offered for sale. After certain UK bookshops and a couple of bookshops in Melbourne Australia I would rate this as the best second hand bookshop I have ever visited based on range quality price.....

When going to your local used book store do you miss wandering through hundreds of old and at time obscure books literally stacked to the ceiling with the added bonus of piles on the floor in front of the shelves? Do you wish there were antique wooden step stools scattered around that while they give you the ability to reach the top shelf of books also add the excitement that their wobbly nature will collapse under you? Do you want to wander through hundreds of nonfiction books about every topic under the sun before at last finding modern fiction in the very back corner? Is the traditional pricing model of dividing the original list price printed on the back cover too confusing? If your answers are yes then this store is definitely for you!!! If you manage to find what you're looking for and make it back to the front of the store without getting lost or buried under a collapsed stack of books you get to find that the faint numbers written in the front cover (because there is never anything written in used books for a reason other than obscure pricing method). But wait there's more!! If you realize that paying $4.50 for a paperback from the '70s isn't for you you can be expected to put the books back yourself. (please note that by declining this amazing offer you will get to experience the top of the line rudeness of the staff being expected to do their own job). All in all this place gives paying inflated prices while listening to cheesy music and drinking mediocre coffee a good name.

Not at the moment, they are overwhelmed. However, some categories always sell. It is worth calling first. Deep stock on railroads, aviation, and maritime subjects would be good bets, I imagine... This store is a fun browse in a traditional old bookstore way. A lot of stock.

Is this place seasonal? Tried to go twice this week during listed hours and no one is there.

I didn't think so! Was it inclement weather?
