Rooms are a little dirty. And we were in a smoking room. I didn't even know they had those anymore. The staff was pretty good though.

We arrived post-storm, so there was a power outtage and the desk agent couldn't make us a key. He had to open our room with his master key. We understood and, luckily, it was late and we didn't need a key since we didn't have to go anywhere. My biggest concern was the bed/pillows. The mattress was nearly as hard as the floor and there were only three thin pillows for a king size bed. We agreed it was our worst night's sleep at a hotel/motel ever. Also, the corners of the room were filthy so we wore socks or flip-flops the entire time. Will look for accommodations elsewhere in Waxahachie for future visits.

If I could score this hotel a -100 I would! do not go to this hotel, the girl behind the front desk was rude, and acted like she was doing us a favor by just by being there to swindle you out of your hard-earned money. My daughter and I went to Walmart at 10:30 p.m. the night we stayed to buy pillows that we would leave there because their pillows were so nasty we didn't want to put our heads on them. We had to ask for an extra set of sheets and we just put them over the top of the ones that were on it then we put one over the top of the top cover so we would be sandwiched between two sets of sheets. I walked across the hardwood floor for about 3 or 4 minutes & the bottom of my feet were black. We were told we could not check in 15 minutes early because they were still cleaning our room?? Clearly they did not clean our room the tub was dirty the floors were dirty the mirror was so dirty I had to wipe it before my daughter could put her makeup on, the sheets and the pillows were horrible,bad bad bad experience! Worst hotel I've ever stayed in in my life. Lots of excuses rudeness and blaming customers is not a way to run a business. It's called the hospitality industry for a reason!

I have spent 8 or 9 days here within the last 3 weeks. It was close to work. It is clean and quiet. Staff was very accommodating until today. I worked last night 12am to 7am, came in this morning cold and tired. I fell asleep and overslept. I realize check out time is 11am. When the front desk called my husband asked if it was ok to get a noon check out they said no problem. I was about 47 minutes later than that leaving(check your video footage it was 12:47 when i came to the front desk to tell you we were out). The girl from the front desk actually came to the room as i was loading up the car with our belongings and was so rude telling me that her housekeeping staff was leaving already. They were not. I asked the girl 4 rooms down still cleaning, who was so sweet. Now with all that being said neither time when we have stayed there did housekeeping have to clean our room while we were there. I cleaned it myself everyday. Took out my own trash daily. Only asked for towels once each time. Cleaned up after my two dogs on the grounds. Once the front desk staff had gone back to the office area they called the room and said they were going to have to charge me an additional $15. For 47 minutes? Again check your video footage. Its a shame that ill have to find another place to stay for my weeks i am in town working. I work for Dallas Morning News, so my hours are crazy sometimes but I am fully aware that there are people that try to stay without paying, clearly not the situation here, maybe the front office staff should not just assume something and reasses the way they treat and talk to their guests. With all that being said I do hope that no one else has to endure the distespect that i did.
