Move to Charlotte, NC two years, about a year ago I move near to Compton Automotive I needed an car inspection and an oil change, went to them and they are knowledgeable, honest about what is needed to be done and not pushing other work to done and what can be wait till later. And till today I am still going and forever going to be my 1st choice on getting anything done to my car. I Had my tires changed, coolant replaced, oil change and car inspection done. High recommended from a person who move from a different state and have trust/and honest in a shop to fix my car.

Pump the breaks and go to Compton's!! This place is really awesome! 👌 My car was having some issues with overheating and even almost broke down. I never know where to go when my car is having issues or which place is honest. After reading Compton's Automotive's reviews, I knew this was the place to go! The reviews did not STEER me wrong (lol). When I called to make an appointment, they were so helpful to make sure I could get my car in and get back home in time for work. The owner's mom actually ended up dropping me off and she was the sweetest! She even offered me fresh baked cookies. Even though this review is not about the cookies, I can tell you that they were delicious. 😋 Once they finished diagnosing, Travis called me and told me everything that they found wrong with my car. Even though it was a lot, he made sure I knew what was going on, what was higher on the priority list, and what could wait. Later in the day, he called me again to tell me that during the repairs, the mechanic found more issues and wanted to call me before they moved any further. I really appreciated that. While my car does eventually need to be replaced, they got some of the repairs done to tide me over until I can get a new car and even gave me some advice on when I do buy a new car what I should look out for. I really appreciate their services, advice, and customer service. They don't come more honest than this. Thanks so much to Compton's!
