We placed a take out order last Friday, 20 minutes before they were about to close. We had been working outside all day and were really hungry. The employee on the phone was very helpful with us when we placed our order. Everything was hot, delicious, quantities were correct… I live in Ohio but visit Philomath often. This is a hidden gem and it was so good…! The chocolate raspberry cake for dessert - oh my gosh. So good!!!

This place is outstanding! They have incredible BBQ, biscuits, and diner style food. In addition, it is all gluten free! The portions are HUGE (and for a great price). The loaded fries alone could be a dinner for two. Each of the entrees are two meals' worth. So basically, we ate ourselves into a food coma. And while the food is excellent, the owners and staff are even better! They were all so friendly and welcoming. They even shared some tips and wisdom wth us for our careers :) I would strongly recommend eating here to everyone, and for anyone with celiac disease or gluten intolerance this restaurant is a must. We haven't had this type of food in years and it was such a treat. We will be making the hour and a half trip at least once a year just to eat here. Thank you so much for the delicious food. We can't wait to go again

Absolutely in edible. The cucumber salad was wilted and I use the wrong kind of vinegar. We had a sampler platter what I assume was beef was just covered in barbecue sauce that was too spicy to eat and the meat was burnt. The chicken was extremely dry and barely had any flavor to it. The ham just didn’t fit in at all because there was no smoky flavor it was just bland nothing. The mashed potatoes were huge lumps and some got awful chemically taste, did not taste like mashed potatoes and garlic. The only thing edible was the cornbread and that was nothing special. A huge waste of money. When I go to a barbecue restaurant I expect actual smoked meats not over cooked, dry, burnt meat covered in horrible BBQ sauce. I don’t know how this place has stayed in business as long as it has, I guess there’s a lot of people out there that are used to eat bad food and Philomath doesn’t have much choice for restaurants. $30 for one sampler plate, which we shared and we still took home leftovers Cuz it was awful. We’re not eating the leftovers we’re going to feed them to our chickens because none of us liked the food. We would’ve demanded a refund had we been able to get anybody to come to our table and wait on us. Over

The staff was accommodating and the food was good, prices are high but the biscuits are worth it. Pictured is the petite plate, the ribs are okay (3/5), the mac and cheese was well seasoned, but the real stand-out was the biscuit! Whatever you order here, be sure it includes the biscuits! You can never have too much butter on your biscuit but these don't need any additions to be delicious. These biscuits are perfect and merit a 5/5 rating.

They have curbside ordering and pickup, spaced tables, outside tables, hand sanitizer, overall they are doing a great job - one of the best I've seen handling covid
Yep indeedy! And soy free too! ;-)
