Pretty simple. #1. This address doesn't exist anymore. Update your address. #2. You can't park your vehicle overnight in the lot. They don't have that as part of their "lease agreement." So it cost me over an hour to coordinate rides. #3. My one request was a car with EZ pass. I received a car without an EZ pass. Had to then DRIVE HOME AGAIN to get my own EZ pass. I rent a ton of cars for work. I will not come back to this place.

NO. Just No. I reserved an SUV from the Portsmouth location for pick up at 1:00 on a weekday. Upon arriving at the rental center 45 minutes late (1:45), the door was locked and a sign was on the door saying "Be Back at 3:00." So I waited over an hour until someone returned, only to be told that they had already rented my car to someone else because I was not there right at 1:00. They said they tried to call me. I had no voicemail, no text, and no "Recent" call from them. They had obviously lied, and took the money that was in front of them rather than extending the courtesy of a phone call to see if I was still coming for the rental. There were no other available cars for rent at this location. DON'T USE THE PORTSMOUTH OFFICE.

I (THOUGHT) was very happy with the customer service I had received at this location when I picked up the car. I was also very happy about the fact that communication with them to keep the car longer was made extremely quick and easy via text message. The car was clean, I had no problems whatsoever with it. HOWEVER..... I now just received a SECOND charge from plate pass for TOLL FEES which were NOT EXPLAINED TO ME WHEN I PICKED UP THE CAR. I do not have a lot of money, in fact I very much struggle to get by month to month. I had gotten in an accident where someone totaled my brand new vehicle, and was out a lot of money in over head due to not purchasing umbrella insurance. Therefor, even more so in a financial struggle. I do not have an ez pass myself and always pay for tolls with cash. Long story short, be aware that the ez pass fees are RIDICULOUSLY HIGH... As in utter first time you go through a toll each 24hrs, you get a flat rate charge of $5.95, no matter how many tolls you go through in a day. Maybe that is a deal if you’re back and forth in another state that has a lot of tolls..... however, in NH on the turnpike there are 2 tolls that are 75cents each. The location was busy, and I am a firm believer in everyone is alike in being human and we ALL make mistakes. I know with all of my heart and soul these agents did NOT say a word to me about the ez pass fees, and when I called to ask why my bank account went negative from a $97 charge from “Hertz toll charge”, I was told there is no way they didn’t explain this to me .... and were very rude about it. I couldn’t be more disappointed....... especially because they didn’t warn me there could be more charges coming (I had the car for 43 days) and my account just went negative AGAIN FROM ANOTHER $67 fee, from Hertz Toll. It really sucks bc this would have been 5+ stars but the people they have answering the calls at that location were rude and dismissive..

They are charging late charging me over $600 for a car a returned the same day. Both the store and thier customer service are completely unhelpful. I was transferred 8 times and hung up on at least 4 times. Their are no managers available and no one knows how to help.
