This hotel is highly unprofessional. Terrible customer service. Try to stay anywhere else. I was traveling with a party of 9. Our connecting flight home on 6/22/22 was cancelled so we booked three rooms for the night with the Quality Inn O'Hare (mostly because they were the only available rooms last minute - trust me, we tried other hotels). We only booked the first night because we wanted to see what our options would be with the airlines the next day. We had rooms 286, 287 & 288 - we were checked in by a woman (I believe Denise but I didn't get her name then). We brought our luggage upstairs (there's no elevator) and settled in. All three rooms were stuffy and hot so we immediately turned the air conditioning on. We went to grab a quick dinner at the Q Bar downstairs while the rooms cooled down (don't order the meatballs, they came out frozen - pizza was okay). When we went back upstairs, room 288 was still extremely hot. The air conditioner was blowing hot air. So we went to the front desk to see if they had another room or to release this room. (It was so bad all 9 of us crammed into 4 beds between the other 2 rooms). When we got down to the front desk, a different employee was working (Caucasian male with blonde hair and an accent - not sure from where). He told me he had no other rooms and he did not have access to release my room, I would have to speak with Denise the next day - he told us Denise got in at 10:00am. I let him know none of us would be using the room and he still insisted he couldn't do anything. The next morning, after speaking with the airlines, at 10:00am we headed downstairs to book a second night and to figure out how to release room 288 and book a different room. I was greeted by yet another employee (not Denise, but I believe her name began with an L). We explained the situation and she told us she couldn't do anything - she also told us we had to speak with Denise and that Denise wouldn't be in until 3:00pm. In the meantime, we decided to book the additional room because we wanted to ensure we could all stay at that hotel and 4 beds is clearly not enough for all of us. After L told us she couldn't do anything about 288, we told her we would handle it with Denise later that day - L then took it upon herself to discount the taxes for room 288(all of $20) - we didn't even use the room and tried to release it the night before so that was obviously not the refund we were looking for. L insisted Denise could do more so we should come back to speak with her. We came back later that night after exploring Chicago, around 8-9pm. Denise was finally present and we were able to speak with her. We explained the situation (again) and she said L already discounted our room so there was nothing she could do. We argued that we didn't ask L to discount the room - she took it upon herself. Denise explained once one discount was applied, another one could not be applied which, again, is ridiculous. We did not ask for a discount. We wanted a full refund for releasing / not using the room. Again, Denise insisted she (even though she is the manager) could not do anything. Denise suggested we speak with Andy (the General Manager) who only works weekdays 9am-5pm, our flight left at 6:00am the next morning. Once we landed on Friday 6/24, I put a call into Andy which went directly to voicemail (which is full so I could not leave a message). I tried on 6/27 & 6/28 even leaving my number with the front desk for Andy to call me. No return call, no response - just entirely unprofessional. Its just so sad that hospitality can act in this way especially after the unexpected delay home. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere. Not to mention - the rooms (other than the beds) were actually gross. There were cleanable stains / residue on the dressers and counters in every room. We know they were cleanable because we passed Lysol wipes all over so I doubt there's an active housekeeping staff.

I chose this hotel because of the location, and also the price. Was very affordable, considering it's so close to the airport. But service was not so great, the front desk guy in the morning left us waiting while he was organizing the coffee area. And not serving breakfast in the morning is definitely a down side.

So we found this hotel on the Choice Rewards site. The location we wanted and the price was great. We hate spending a lot on hotels since we'll be there such a short time but are always nervous about the quality/safety of the place. This Quality Inn was pretty good. Front desk staff was great, room was clean, A/C worked great, TV good. Loved the shower head. Some are weak but this was terrific. Overall very good visit. Only issue was that the bathroom door didn't latch. I mean the lock was broken and would not close at all. Had to shove a washcloth under the door to keep it closed for some privacy. Only one negative thing, but it was kind of a big one. Overall, I'd stay here again though. Nice place.

This is the answer to all things travel near Ohare. Staff is friendly, the shuttle is on time and a 6 min ride to the airport. Small workout room, very nice bar & restaurant with a few pool tables and game machines. The room is perfect to have a place to get a little rest before your big trip. Sure bathroom is a little short on sink and mirror but who cares. Have stayed here 3 times now and never had a musty room. Parking and to sleep here is half the price of parking alone at the airport. Recommend this place to all my friends.

Take the hotel shuttle to the Blue Line stop at O'Hare. The Blue Line will take you downtown. From there, you have a variety of transportation options.
