Must pay to enter the state park. Sign at trailhead rates trail as difficult. Believe it. Not fun to ride. Narrow, wet, many roots making it impossible to "ebb and flow". Within the first mile there are places where the roots will throw you off the trail. If you go off the trail you go down a 20 to 30 FT bank. I suspect that this trail is not maintained. Too bad, it could be a nice place for MTB. I suspect

This is one of my favorite Indy trails. It is less crowded than most of the other trails at Fort Harrison. Nice variety of habitats to enjoy nature, including wetlands, prairie, and forest. Note: Not accessible when it is muddy. Plan to go to other trails when it has been rainy or there has been a recent snow melt.

Great trail: moderate elevation changes, cool switch backs, awesome - gorgeous - landscapes. Hit it during the work week, or earlier on the weekends to avoid heavy bike traffic.

Had a wonderful time at Ft Harrison today!! Grounds are kept wonderfully. Saw the horse stables as well. Just a good Gathering Place for families :0)

There are some parking spots for RV's in the millineum grove picnic area , but overnight camping is not allowed in the park.
$7 in-state, $9 out-of-state (as of 10/2019). If you're close to any of the State Parks or Reservoirs, the annual pass ($50), is worth every penny. Just know passes are by the calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec 31). Enjoy Ft. Harrison! Schoen Creek is my current fav, but Lawrence Creek and even Fall Creek trails are just as great: nice elevation changes and stunning views.
No camping.
