Stopped by yesterday and the experience was great. Young guy at the window was really awesome. He was very polite, friendly and professional. I loved boiled peanuts and only knew the ones I wanted as reds or Spanish peanuts, he was great and educated me on the proper names. I picked up two 1/4 bushel bags. I had seen this place on a Distant Signal YouTube video by Danny Harmon and had to stop by, so glad we did! Peanuts are great and will be stopping here again when passing by.

This is review is more for an FYI to Waldron Farms...I frequent two Publix stores in Tampa and I am always on the lookout for FRESH, GREEN peanuts. By the time that Publix puts your peanuts out for sale, they are not fresh, or green to my standard, but more qualify as raw peanuts, and there is a big difference. Not sure if the delay is the fault of Publix, or Waldron Farms, but the shell of the peanut and the peanut is very dry by the time they reach the case. You should not have to boil fresh, green peanuts for an hour, or more, to get them soft enough to not stick to the shell. Having to cook them so long boils out all of the good flavor, and you might as well buy raw peanuts for a fraction of the price and cook them in a crockpot.

A great place to purchase green peanuts at a reasonable price. I always purchase my peanuts from Walden’s for boiling. Very friendly and curtious people.
