I hope they might consider an LGBTQ section... and I was sad to not find any indigenous information in their local and Vermont sections. But the store is beautiful and mostly friendly! So 4 stars.

When I am in Middlebury, I always make sure to stop in and I never leave empty-handed. There is always something interesting that I haven’t seen before. Now that we are all stuck at home I like to order from this shop. The service is very good. Reading the reviews, I see that not everyone understands the economics of the book trade. Amazon’s low prices are killing independent bookstores. I’d rather pay full price and help keep these wonderful places around than save a few bucks and see all the bookstores disappear.

Way beats shopping online! So many interesting titles to discover here that I never would have found otherwise. Especially wonderful books with local connections. Not to mention the gifts and cards. And, I always run into a friend here! Can't do that on Amazon.
