The trading post is a must see, even if you don't want to buy anything, just looking at the amazing craftsmanship of the items that are hand made, is worth the time, not to mention the artifacts of that era they have on display!! And the cafe is a DEFINITE stop to make!! Buffalo burgers were SO good! But I have to say, their fry bread is worth it alone! With the first bite, I was flooded with SO many fond memories, of my grandma, and then my mom, making us fry bread. Slathering it in honey, it's amazing! The Trading Post was the first authentic tasting fry bread since before my mom passed. And the service is fantastic, and our waiter was friendly, funny, and an all around pleasure to meet! In fact all the people that work there were pleasant, smiling, and very helpful! Thank you everyone, for the VERY pleasant experience at Custer's Battlefield Trading Post! I look forward to going back!

What a pleasant surprise! Excellent food choices and prices aren’t bad. Sometimes you don’t expect that when it’s the only place in the area. Kudos to the owners. You can tell a place is good when it appears that more locals are there than tourists. Fried bread and soup looked great and I should have ordered that. Burger and taco salad were good. Gift shop has a large selection of items.

Great place to shop for books on the battle, Indian history, etc... There are souvenirs of all kinds covering a wide range from books, clothing, jewelry, signs, blankets, kids items and so much more. The food is very good and breakfast and their burgers are highly recommended! Nice teepee set up outside for photos and the building is in a fort style log cabin set up. Location to Little Bighorn entrance is right across the road. A cool stop before or after the Battlefield.

You can eat at the trading post. And shop there. But it's across the highway from the memorial.

The trick is to use fresh tomatoes and real cream. Sautéed onion purée.
