Sites are a little tight if you're staying in the park all the time. However, this is an amazing place to explore. There are historic sites, hiking trails, parks, and so many other things to do in the surrounding area. The owners do a fantastic job of keeping the park clean and green. The restrooms/bath house were immaculate. Great place to stay!

Peter D's RV Park was excellent. We stayed for seven days and enjoyed this campground and the wonderful owners. Very clean and well maintained, and quiet. Everything worked perfectly, and we loved staying in Sheridan. I will make sure I revisit this campground when I return to the area. Thanks Peter D!!

Peter D's was a pleasant campground. Friendly and helpful owners. Very clean. Bathrooms very clean. Nice laundry. Large dog run. Pull Thurs were very good sites. Campground is very well maintained. Danny & Sheila from Mechanicsville, VA recommend this campground.

I wouldn't actually call Peter D a gentleman.....he wasnt for us during our stay. There is a museum out of the park entrance ( turn left out of park then left at the next street and museum log building will be on your left) they could tell you a lot about Sheridan.
We did not find Peter D to be nice at all! He is a micromanager who is always in your business. The sites are short and VERY close together! With slides out, you nearly touch your neighbor. We stayed for 5 nights and paid cash so he charged us less. I would not recommend staying there to anyone! He turned his dryers way down in the laundry so you have to keep feeding them quarters to dry your clothes thoroughly.
I would never stay there that long, spaces are to close together
