Positive: LOVED that this vintage roadside motel still retains its character. And the amenities were better than expected - I didn't expect a fridge at all, and instead got a decent mini bigger than ones in much fancier hotels. Negative: Wi-fi was very spotty, tho that might be the terrain. More bothersome was the political t-shirt the clerk was wearing when I checked in. I found it offensive and complete inappropriate for business attire.

Was given Room 119 which had no curtain, no sheets, no pillow, no electricity - completely being updated. When son informed office was told not possible. Called and spoke to owner who refused to listen and hung up. How would we know all these facts about a room if not given it. Just refund our card as we obviously left since owner took no responsibility. Listen to your customer - we were not lying and simply listening and not hang up. Do NOT stay here If giving out keys to remodeling rooms and will not even listen to customer to give another room.

My husband booked 2 nights here to surprise me for our 25th anniversary. Price was right, room was very clean. Reason for only 4 stars? Here we go: advertised room included continental breakfast but the office is not open/covered from 1am until 11am. Why would I wait until lunchtime to get some bread for breakfast? Yes, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, BUT so very dated. A coat of paint on the walls and perhaps a better chair at the desk would go so far into making this updated and "better". The "Archie Bunker" style chairs that sit outside each room on the "patio" are comfortable but they need to be replaced or at least recovered (go with replaced because I think it will cost less). Love that you can sit outside and enjoy nature and people watch, but those chairs..... Also, pet peeve, please can you pull the weeds out so when I sit on the patio I don't feel like I need to get up and do it for you? Good over bad, yes I would come back and stay here again. Clean room, polite staff. I just hope they can paint the walls to make the room a little brighter before my next visit.

Three stars is just okay and really if you aggregate, it I would give this place three stars. The place had a really moldy smell and I wasn't able to sleep that whole night because of the noises coming from the opening and closing of doors and other units; so the walls are really thin. Now if none of that bothers you they had a breakfast buffet, TVs in the rooms are huge. I'm The refrigerator was able to fit the pizza box from the Pizza Hut located down the block. I was impressed by the quality of the bathroom the bathroom soaps and overall it was nice. It seems to be a mom-and-pop operation yet they seem to have somebody on duty all the time I was able to check in at 10:00 at night. There are a couple of cute cats running around the community hitting on people that stay there for what food they have.
