My friend's mother came here after a hospital visit where rehab. was recommended. A couple of days later she was found unresponsive and was sent back to the hospital. When my friend called to find out the status of his mom they asked if he could call back later because they were too busy. When she was ready to leave the hospital and come back they refused her coming back they said she was too combative. So what I've come to know is if they don't want to put up with a patient they just send them out with a made-up excuse. When we arrived at the hospital she was completely responsive and had a UTI, explaining the combativeness. That is the story in a nutshell. And I can get a lot deeper. But I'm going to leave that alone. To the facility, don't bother to make an excuse. I don't want to hear it. There is no excuse. And unless you want me to turn this confusing story into a well detailed defined story naming names, don't go there!! Pathetic!!!

7/19/2022 Not yet familiar with their patient care services. However, big shout out to the reception I received when I arrived unannounced today to inquire about moving a family member here from a local hospital. I was able to tour the entire facility unannounced without having to schedule a tour in advance. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and general feeling amongst the staff and patients of happiness. Special shout out to Meaghan Caccamise who spent time with me and answered all my questions. 7/21/2022 So Google won't let you add multiple reviews from the same account. But I wanted to add more shout outs for Palm Garden of Largo and all of their peeps. Google Reviews was where I started the search for the best Health and Rehabilitation Center for my Mom. So it's been only two days since I first walked in the doors here and my Mom was admitted early yesterday evening. She was scared and upset when she arrived but the staff immediately put her at ease. Thanks to Bruce for his kind and caring ways with my Mom. We did not expect much progress with my Mom on her first full day, but she's already eating better and they've had her up and out of bed today. My shout outs today go to Lisa Kent a Regional Director who saw me in the hallway and her first comment was, "How is your Mom doing today" and to Kendra Mulloy, Executive Director of Palm Garden of Largo for her leadership at this location.

I had knee replacement June 27 2021 @ St Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg Fl. I was first placed in another Rehab we will not divulge for reasons to bad to say. After coming to Palm Garden I first thought I had died and went to REHAB HEAVEN it has been an experience anyone would and should be entitled to. Any place can be nice on the outside but its the people on the inside that makeup your experience as to how good of time it will be. From the very start getting out of the car when I arrived started one of the most delightful experiences I have ever had. Never being in a rehab prior I didn't know what to expect but I have soon found Palm Garden goes way over what one would thing to expect. The STAFF as well as the patients have been so nice all the way around, from the start by saying good morning to pleasant greeting throughout the day. As far as calling you by your preferred name and serving you food above what one would expect. The medical care has been what one would expect in the best of Hospitals for in house staff to outside medical staff. I believe in a few months I will be comming back if it can happen for what will be replacement of my left knee that wore out while waiting for the right one to be replaced. I truly look forward to comming back and wish all should be able to have the stay I have experienced. I thank you STAFF, Doctors, And Nurses from my heart for the over and above care in my recovery.
