Forgot to leave a review a few years ago, the owner wife is stuck up and judges people, if you have a dog or at the time i had an older model camper, you will be judged. We were asked to leave because one morning i tied my dog to the picnic table in my rv site. Kicked us out. My camper was is great condition for being a year 2000 as well. Very much stuck up people that judge the tenants and constanly kick out people that have older model campers or if they feel they are better than you in any way. Save urself the karen encounter. =after reply=Also shes lying we were asked to leave. But karens love lying. Like my father was only there helping me get set up, he had left something on our picnic table, that combined with my dog tied to the metal frame legs is why she asked us to leave. Just know if you have a dog or model older than like 5 years from new shes gonna find a way to get you out i watched her do it to several others before me.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Great location between Pueblo and Canon City area attractions. Quiet and spacious sites. Very clean and well maintained campground. The lady running the place was super nice and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.!

Super clean and accommodating. Our host, Nancy was a delight. Every RVer's possible needs were met. The 3 shower heads in the shower...BONUS! Highly recommend! Thanks Nancy

Wonderful place to stay. Halfway between Pueblo and Canon City. Right on Rte.50 but I never heard any traffic noise. Nancy, the owner/manager, is one of the happiest, most helpful people I've ever met.

Can pop up tent trailers camp here, or just hard-sided RVs?

Hello Kathleen and thank you for the question. The weather can get windy out here on the plains, and some tents or pop up tent trailers can get damaged if extreme winds are present. If the weather is nice and the pop up tent trailer is in good appearance, then we would be able to take a reservation. (Due to the weather being an issue, we may wait to take a deposit on a reservation until a week prior to arrival.) If you have any other questions or concerns please re email and/or call 719-547-2101. Thank you again and have a great new year! :) Nancy & Matt @ Haggard's RV Campground

Call Nancy there, she is great! They may be booked for the month but I believe its $425 plus electricity but they have different prices for different sites. Nancy is great with answering calls and messages.
