This was a fun way to spend a hot afternoon. It was neat seeing some of the local history from around St. Petersburg. I had been to this museum once as a kid so it was nice to go back.

Enjoyed the variety of exhibits. As a student of drafting and architecture, the prints of old buildings and the Vinoy were especially interesting. The native American canoe was another treat. Nice place to spend some cool time during a hot day.

What a joke! Pictures of old St. Pete, really? Hardly any items (actual history) from any era. Items that are there are of no significance to the city. But there are baseballs. BASEBALLS!!! Really. I guess if you're a baseball nut. But, if you're going to visit the museum for history and actually pay... you're nuts. I didn't go to see baseballs!!! Definitely not worth it. But, go check it out for yourself. They could use the money to get new management to obtain actual history as their marquee describes. Here's an idea... go across the street to the Museum of Fine Arts or down the street to the Dali or Holocaust. Those are worth the money.

Thoroughly enjoyed walking thru & looking at the art exhibits! I was amazed by the Monet, and the glass brackets from 400 ad.

Parking is a challenge with Pier closed.....the metered parking is pricey close by if you're lucky enough to find a space. Try the Loop bus if you can
