So, I went to donate a lot of items. They were all in bags. I had clothes, purses, home decor, lamps, toys, school supplies, etc in them. Most of the items were brand new. An older man outside rolled his eyes and with the nastiest attitude told me that everything needed to be separated into the bins, home decor, clothes, toys, etc. I offered to open all of the bags, so everything could be sorted, and he just grabbed the first bag from me. By this time, I was crying. A younger African American guy came over and told the older guy that he had this, and proceeded to kindly take my bags and sort them. I was so thankful for him, and I'd give him 5 stars for being so kind. He asked me if I was having a bad day and was genuinely concerned about me. As I drove off he watched me like he was concerned about me driving, you could just see it in his face and actions. The older gentleman shouldn't be working there with his attitude! He basically treated me like trash! If you are there to volunteer, he needs to quit and go elsewhere. If he's actually getting paid to do his job, he needs to be fired or demoted to mopping floors and cleaning the toilets! You never know what people are going through, so treat them with respect. I am basically moving out of a three bedroom home into a gutted mobile home, because I have nowhere else to go. There is literally nothing in the home. It needs a complete remodel, and I only have my boyfriend to help me, and he's going through a really rough time now also. Every single cent I had has gone into this home to try to get at least the bathroom done. I don't time for a yardsale, which is why I donated everything, even though I really could have used the extra cash to put towards the new place. So the older gentleman was very hurtful and rude, and has no business "thinking" he's helping someone out, because that day, he didn't, he sent me off crying and couldn't care less. The younger gentleman deserves some kind of recognition for his genuine concern, and caring demeanor.

New management took over for all stores in Pinellas County. As of March 2022, Prices have literally doubled & tripled on all items. They no longer offer their 50% off Bric-A—Brac on Thursdays. Instead it’s off a certain color tag. Their stores are so full of items because they can’t sell anything at these outrageous prices. Good luck getting rid of your inventory…because it’s not going to happen. Hopefully they will see a drop in their monthly sales reports and revert back to prices that people can actually afford. Shame on Salvation Army trying to “line their own pockets” instead of truly helping out their customers.

Clean and well organized, my Monday to do list starts here. ROB is the best with a smile and a nod to everyone. Thank you for helping me bring home the best. I do a lot of repurposing and have some fun with it.

Yes. Credit Card They accept credit card payments with VISA, MasterCard and American Express. However, they do have a $5.00 minimum to use a credit card.
It is on Tuesday's for anyone 55 or older. They give 10% off entire purchase. Hope this helps.
