This was our first taste of Iowa wine, passing thru the area. Location is nice, with beautiful views of the local hills. They offer a variety of sweet and semi sweet wines, semi dry, and a few dry wines. We let the server know we prefer dry. Sadly, she lacked knowledge about wine. One bottle of a dry red we tasted smelled and tasted old. Turned out it had been open 8 days. She noted there was still some left in the bottom of the bottle. She didn’t offer to let us try a fresh bottle of the dry wine (our preferred wine). The white wines tasted crisp and fresh.
