Long story short, I left because of bad customer service. I honestly liked this bank, until I realized my bank account was hacked. Someone got my account and used it to pay Netflix. Unfortunately, I didn't notice for months. I went to the bank to fix the problem. They told me they couldn't reimburse me, not even the most recent month, or even cancel the payments; and that I had to take it to Netflix. I understood and was ready to go, but that didn't stop them from questioning me instead of just letting me go. The teller just kept sassily asking me, "really, you didn't notice, really." I wasn't rude or anything. All the workers were just starring at me, as if I was trying to pull a fast one. I had just been robbed, and they treated me like I was trying to rob them. I gave them 3 stars because I liked the setup they had going. Which is why, I ended up with a different credit union bank.

The service has gotten worse and worse over the past few years but especially now with the current manager Jerry being a stubborn robot-like beuracrat that can’t use his brain to actually help the members like most other credit unions (or anyone with common decency) would. I don’t feel like this is a credit union that values it’s members anymore, it’s turning totally corporate it seems. I don’t feel Jerry was being fair with me with an account issue. I would give this place a solid 2 star rating normally but based on my experience with Jerry today, I’m going 1 star.

Love La Loma. Very low apr which was great for my first credit card. I was surprised to see such low rating on here but reading the reviews I get it. If you’re used to how things work in Loma Linda/the Adventist world you’ll be fine. It’s really just that you can’t do a whole lot online which makes things slower.

Would not recommend. I've been a member of this Credit Union since my late teens. Recently I complained because I could not access my account online and did not receive an updated debit card in the mail. It's been weeks and customer service still hasn't returned my calls. I will be closing my account.

You will need to work, be a volunteer or a student at Loma Linda University. I do not know if just living or working in Loma Linda qualifies you. If you qualify, then you just need $25.00 to open a savings account. That amount needs to always stay in your account.
Hey if you would like to open a saving account for you and your family, first you will need to qualify. If you work, volunteer, or are a student of LLU/ the hospital, or are a member of the SDA conference/ go to a SDA church you qualify. And if any of you qualify, you all qualify! if you do qualify, you can come in and open a savings, your joints will need to be with you so we can get everyone signatures, and if you have any minors to add to the accounts, just make sure you also have their SSN card. There is just a 25$ base deposit that will need to be put in the account. when you get here just sign in at the front desk, and one of our Member Service Rep's will help you, and will be able to answer any other questions you might have!
