I don’t get the hype, we waited the 45 minuets on a Sunday morning based on the great reviews and we were underwhelmed. My son never got his blueberry pancake and my omelette was made wrong, which took an additional 20+ minuets to re-make. The food was fine, but I definitely would not wait 45 minuets to eat here again.

We were excited to visit today. We came up from St. Paul and stopped on our way to Grand Marais. When we came in, we asked if we could sit by the window. Apparently this was some type of extraordinary request, and the server snapped and told us we'd have to wait for it to be cleaned. Then, she proceeded to clean other tables around, prolonging our wait. It was obvious it was intentional and I was confused about the random spite. Finally she cleaned the table, but didn't seat us so we ended up seating ourselves. Then, 3 tables that came in after us we're greeted and brought beverages before us. I went to the front and asked the other waitress if we could be served and received more "great" customer service. We finally got drinks, then food after a long wait. Food wasn't great, but the customer service was so poor that we def won't be going back for another try.

One of the best pancakes I’ve ever had! Everything we ordered was delicious! The service was prompt and friendly. The place was very cozy. Definitely recommend this place!

A great little breakfast place! The staff works hard, and the food and vanilla latte were tasty. The crepes were SO good! Getting there earlier will typically result in less of a wait like any breakfast place, but not bad either way. I’d come back here again!
