I was an out of town visitor and my wife who needed lunch. The place was a pleasant surprise. The building is an 1800s building in fine shape. With an open door to an adjoining bar that I did not enter. My food order was taken on a modern wireless tablet, and the place had the feel of a trendy Minneapolis restaurant. The man serving was pleasant, competent, and efficient. Meal choices. Whole simple, again made me think I was in a big city place. I enjoyed myself. I will be back next time I am in the area.

I came in from hunting looking for some warm biscuits and gravy and it took 20 minutes for me to get a drink then got my food about 45 minutes later and it was cold I didn’t even want to eat it because it was cold biscuits and gravy. If I wanted cold food I would have went to the grocery store and taken 10 minutes of my time. I asked for a pen to write down my registration number to register my turkey and never got it. Don’t recommend if you want breakfast or good service.

The server was a delight. The food came out fast. I had the BBQ Bacon Chicken Melt. It was good but a bit on the messy side, so just be prepared for that. It wasn't too busy for the time of day. I will definitely go back.

After a nice long hike at Ney nature center, we were HUNGRY so we stopped by the RoadHaus for an early supper. I couldn’t decide between the bacon cheeseburger or the bbq chicken melt so we each ordered one plus some cheese curds. He had tots and I had fries. The food arrived hot and tasty! It looked amazing, smelled great, and was exactly as ordered. Katy our server was a friendly ray of sunshine and we had everything we wanted throughout the meal. We will be back when our adventures take us this way again :)
