Great for large parties, but if you don’t have reservations picnic tables are clustered for groups. There is a huge lawn in the middle but it doesn’t have any shade. Some trails run away from the grove but no clear access into them.

We attended a memorial service in the park (Clancy's corner). The park is very shady with sunlit spots too. Great bathrooms and BBQ area. There are hiking trails and a playground.

I hike here because the trails are not busy and I can let my dog run off leash. We like the Black Oak Trail.

Yes it does!! Be sure to reserve the area before hand. It can be busy on the weekends. Especially in the summer months. It also has a community center on the premises. The building has both indoor and an outdoor yard available to rent.
The park is open. There is no charge for parking or entrance. Several people were there today and one large group of kids was playing volleyball. The bathrooms are open. There are maps available. Nice place. Nice people.

The playground and picnic areas are closed for Caronavirus. One trail is closed. But the main trails are open. There is plenty of flat ground to have picnics on a blanket. We just sat down and ate on the grass.
