Wood county has increased site prices along with wood and ice. All sites are reservation only now. There is also a $10.00 reservation fee that is tacked on during the online booking service. For this price I expect better pads and water activities.

It was breathtaking, I drove through the hole park, the walking bridge was impressive. I especially liked the dam I will be returning, it was awesome and clean. It is a great place for a picnic.

This place is huge and gorgeous! Lots of things to do here: disc golf, fishing, swimming, kayaking, hiking. Many great picture opportunities. There are restrooms and shelters, picnic tables and grills. Lots of camping space. A playground area. The suspension bridge is fun just walking across. Lots of wildlife and flowers. Beautiful views! Well worth checking out! For the Go players, there's at least one Pokestop and one gym. We had a very weak connection there, so not sure if there were more due to loading issues.

I believe they open gates at 10 in morning and close them around 8
I'm pretty sure it is $23 a night with the electric sites.
I have reservations about this park. A lot of the time wood county health dept closes the swimming area.
This is only a guess, but from the look of the construction I would say it is CCC era. According to an online book at the McMillan library, the park land was acquired in 1936 although it does not specify the year of the bridge construction. It also does not indicate if the work was done by the CCC.
Only electricity. Water is at the barn houses only. You will need a container.
