Wow, this place was awesome! Nestled in the mountains between Running Springs and Big Bear, this camp has tons of amenities. The staff was amazing, the food was really good, the mountain views and hikiig were fabulous. We were here at a men's camp for two nights and had a great time.

My daughter stayed here for science camp last March. You are up in the forest.so you might see: plenty of squirrels, birds, maybe a coyote, rare still might be a mountain lion and black bear. During science camp they have someone come in with a chinchilla and a non poisonous garden snake.

Yes it would be best to being a sleeping bag and a pillow. There are bunk beds with mattress but it gets really cold and everyone uses the mattress.
