I recently moved to a new neighborhood which this company services for weekly trash pick up. They are horrible to deal with & not reliable as far as when they say they will come out to pick up something scheduled or drop off a new can. It took 3 weeks for stuff to get picked up after already being "scheduled" twice before. I hate that there are no other options here.

I have a old sofa and coach. I call WM and schedule a pick up. They came on time as plan and pick my old stuff away. Keep area clean after picked things up. Good service! A+

I received a bill from Waste Management for a dumpster rental that indicated a charge $300 higher than expected. Initially, I was unable to resolve this with telephone support, perhaps due to the representative not clearly understanding the billing charges. After posting a negative review, Waste Management worked quickly to determine and correct the billing error. Everyone at Waste Management was courteous and professional. Stellar follow-up from Customer Service to confirm I was credited the proper amount.

I was directed here by WM to post a review from a survey they sent me. This company is the best example of why exclusive municipal contracts are horrible. It's the law that we use them, so I have no choice in the matter - and they behave accordingly. They charge too much, provide too little service and are very rude when you contact them to fix problems. 1. Their recycling rules are restrictive and shameful. Los Angeles pretty much accepts all materials without limit, but WM only takes half of what should be recyclable. 2. They charge extra for recycling, charge extra for extra recycling bins and extra for recycling pickup based on how many bins you have. Then turn around and sell the material you give them to recycle at a profit. 3. They charge you extra for bins per month, AND extra for picking up each bin per month. So evil. Trash services should be flat rate, and extra bin rental or pickup fee, not both. 4. EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK. The truck driver scatters trash across the street at every house, and does nothing about it. He drives off and it gets left in the neighborhood. 5. We ordered an extra recycling bin and and extra trash bin. They delivered 1 extra yard waste bin instead. They refused to fix it and are now charging me the monthly fee for the yard waste bin. I tried to use it and got a nasty notice saying I'm not allowed to use it because I'm not paying a pickup fee for it. What BS! 6. When I tried to fix the above, the woman on the phone (and another by email) were both so rude that I can't bring myself to try anymore. So now I am paying a monthly rental fee for a green bin that I cannot use because I'm not paying a monthly pickup fee and still don't have the bins that I ordered.
