No longer take e-waste on weekends, contrary to all posted signs. They also DO NOT take any compost. They do "compost training" via some signage, but their solution is to put it in your yard. Workers do not know where you should take it. Still searching for somewhere now.

Open but doesn’t take electronics on the weekend, made a special trip just for one item, try to do the right thing, staff was really rude instead of trying to help

I normally Love this place. In fact I drive out of my way to do my recycling here. BUT it infuriates me that when I arrive, it’s CLOSED when online it says open! Aaaaahhhh!!! I just drove 30 minutes out of way for no reason!

I am a recent transplant from San Diego and I must say that I am very impressed with the city of Burbanks initiative and proactivity in waste management and recycling. I recently attended a free 2 hour class about composting and household efficiency. I found it to be pleasantly informative, relevant, and valuable.....and the best part is you get a free awesome Darth Vader-looking earth machine composter! In an impacted urban environment, efficient waste management is imperative and if everyone would be a bit more conscious of their waste and debris, it would translate to cleaner natural soil, healthier trees and gardens, improved water percolation, and a vastly improved air quality.... If you are interested in learning about eco-conscious living, the recycling center offers a variety of free classes about composting, DIY projects, and fixit clinics to help people lead a happier, healthier more efficient lives.....

Not sure when you asked this question but we have been open since late March 2021.
We are open!!
I believe they do I do know they do take computers hard drives printers, microwaves. I didn't see any big items but I would think they take almost all recyclables
Yes, our Drop Zone collection service accepts used motor oil, anti-freeze and filters. This service is open M-F 8a-5p, closed on weekends and holidays.
Yes. They are closed Sundays and some holidays listed on their website
NO LO SE, I DON'T NOT
Corrugated cardboard can go directly into a forklift receptacle (dumpster) and then gets machine baled. Paper also goes in it's own dumpster. So no cutting/folded required unless you've got something longer than about 7 feet!
They don't check for residence from what I can tell. You will need to sign a receipt to get paid out for CRV
We do not pay for cardboard but the public can drop it off for free.
Yes they do. They must be marked CRV. This means they do not accept out of state of California beverage containers or wine bottles, skin care bottles, etc. Visit their website for more information
No.. You can drop for free..
It's best to call them 818-238-3900. That would be out of the ordinary but you never know.
Yes just park in the lot and you'll see large steel bins with various labels
We don't accept it.
It's free for residential And $6.00 for commercial business
Yes the pay you for aluminum pans and plastic bottles
How much are you paying for copper
Drop off is free for private home mattresses. $6.00 foe commercial property mattresses. I do not know if they pay you for private whole mattress trash
If they're in working condition post them on the free section of Craigslist. Im sure someone would love to pick them up
They will most likely not accept it here. Take it to your nearest salvation army center and they will recycle anything that is not able to be sold! Hope this helps
They wont pay you for that type of glass anywhere in California, but you can drop them off here for no charge.
No
Call then recycle center for details
I don't believe this recycling center pays anything for anything. There is a recycling center that pays for aluminum plastic and glass located on Vanowen and Clybourne, just outside of Burbank.
Yes. You do not need to be a Burbank resident to recycle your mattress with them.
