It was a very nice experience! The staff was very accommodating and helpful. As a person who has never been to balsam lake our waiter Ethan Tyler was very helpful on giving us things too do while being very welcoming! So if you’re ever in the area I highly recommend the Balsam lake lodge!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! If I could turn back time, we would have listened to friends and read the reviews closer! We had a horrible experience last Sunday! We were there for 2 hours and 20 minutes! We bussed our own table from appetizers, had to get our own water from the bar, we fetched our own napkins and ketchup and steak sauce when our food finally came! The food order wasn’t right and the food wasn’t good! The worst part though? No apologies! We were mocked and argued with by the staff and the manager! On our way out, they celebrated by saying “looks like we’re drinking tonight”! We’re from out of town and rented a cabin for a week and I was really looking forward to a special night out to dinner with my parents, adult children and our grandson (he’s 11 months old and got cold macaroni and cheese 2 hours after we arrived)! DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Food a d drinks were excellent. We could tell they were short staff which is not a surprise this day and age. The bartender and waitress still made us a priority and took great care of us. I would highly recommend and will be back!

We were not greeted upon arrival, then asked to seat ourselves. We were not offered menus, and had to ask for them after 20 minutes. Waitress forgot our salads and a few other things. Service was generally bad and food was average and barely warm. Steak was sent back once, and overcooked both times. Server presented the check without asking if we needed anything else. Erika needs to step up her game as a server or step down from her position. We were treated very poorly considering the price and "pride in your service" I read about in another review. You would be better off getting fast food, you would probably find better service there. It was an overwhelmingly disappointing experience, there is potential in this restaurant, but obviously the staff we met were not trying to reach for that.

Hi Nikki, Paradise has started brunch on Sunday mornings 9-noon. Family style, where you are seeved food in big platers and you "pass the plate" like you would at thanksgiving or any other big family sit down. They have an all you can eat option- which i recommend for large groups. Call ahead to make reservations. The entirr breakfast was awesome- but the hashbrowns were my favorite! I hope this helps!
Yes the restaurant is open the website will be fixed and it'll be back up and running. It was turned off for some maintenance.
Paradise Landing is not closed, however we are on our winter hours. Monday, Thursday and Friday we open at 4:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday we open at 11:00 am. We are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
