This place is dirty and the people are rude!! The Hispanic lady with curly hair and glasses is beyond rude! She is customer service and a representation of the post office and its beyond me how she got that job. Do better USPS! She was verbally rude to a lady asking for an envelope and her manager was no help, it is like he backed up her rudeness. Plus they closed 15 minutes early and were acting like they couldn't work. Its worth the drive to Hollydale because they are nice and considerate.

The supervisor Jose refused to scan in my packages at the back dock, he didn't want to scan them in 1 by 1. I only recently stopped taking them to the front because they don't like having to scan them in either. In the end a different employee scanned them in. Im not sure why Jose did not want to do it. It only took 1 minute. He knows the scan sheet does not actually accept the packages into the system until they get a physical scan, and that's what I wanted.

I've been here a total of 7 times, once to the post office to get information on replacing a damaged passport at the postal office, and 6 times to the actual passport office. The first time at the passport office, they gave me a blue form to fill and told me to come back with my damaged passport. I triple checked to make sure that it was the correct form for a DAMAGED passport, and they assured me it was and shooed me away. So I left to get my pictures and fill out the form. The second time I arrived, they told me I had to redo my pictures. Which I was uncertain of, but who am I to argue? So off I went. The third time, i was informed I had the wrong form, and gave me a brown one to fill. A minor annoyance at this point, but I didn't want to take it out on the worker. I was also informed my last pictures were fine which was... off putting. I had to leave early, but they still said I was fine with just my passport and didn't need anything else. When I came back the fourth time, they told me I needed my birth certificate and that my passport was not enough. At this point i was getting a bit frustrated. I had to get a new one a few years ago, and so brought the papers I used last time. The fifth time around they told me I had the wrong forms - and when I asked for clarification as to why these didn't work this time, I was more or less shoo-ed away again. The sixth time around, I brought EVERYTHING. I was paranoid at this point, ensuring I had everything and asking if the worker needed anything else. The worker obviously seemed bothered and annoyed at my double checking, and when I mentioned having been here 7 times - she brushed it off and told me "you gotta read everything." As if I hadn't and didn't check with the workers to ensure what to bring. This was incredibly frustrating for me, and I couldn't help but start to break down. It takes 20-30 minutes for me to drive here, and an additional ~30 minutes of waiting - and I suffer from a back injury, so this entire process has been physically/mentally painful and exhausting. As embarassing as it was for me to start crying in public and vent - I couldn't help it! I just did what the workers told me, which I recognize now was my mistake to trust. But the idea that none of them could give me a straight answer, wouldn't take the time to answer any questions asked for clarification and shooed me away when I did or made snide comments that I personally found to be belittling - I cannot find acceptable. If they weren't certain of something, they should say as much and provide both forms when requested, and suggest to the person to bring everything just in case so you don't waste your time. To anyone getting a new passport, I sincerely hope you have a much easier time than I - and I highly reccommened bringing everything, no matter what anyone says. Your birth certificate (from Department of Health Services), your driver's license/state ID, Social Security Card, and the forms (fill out and bring both if you feel doubt).

There’s construction on my block so they can’t or won’t deliver to my house—so I went in and filled out the form to have my mail put on hold so I can pick it up and not miss important letters / packages. Despite this, they do not hold my mail, and for some reason still send it out every day even though they refuse to deliver and I’ve actively asked them to do a hold. Also, when you ask to pick up mail that’s on hold you always have to talk to a supervisor—I’ve had to come in four business days in a row, in the middle of a pandemic, because for some reason each day they have a different supervisor and none of them can be bothered to communicate with each other. I’ve filled out the yellow hold form THREE TIMES (the first time I can in the supervisor on staff told me I didn’t need to and that they would just hold it obviously that did not work out). Each time they have an excuse as to why it’s not being held—once they even said it’s because I have picked it up in the past, when how could I have picked anything up if they have NEVER, not once, held anything? And when I fill out a new form each time, so even if u took the old hold off because just because I came in I still made sure there was a new one, it’s really no excuse. Each time I come in I am told that they are sorry and that they will hold my packages and mail and that I can come in the next day it will be there. And yet it never happens. While some of the supervisors were nice, others were even annoyed with me for asking for my mail. Most of the other workers here are nice and if you just need to drop off a package or letter this location will probably be fine, but anything beyond that I’d recommend to avoid this location if you can, unfortunately I cannot.

Find out from your mail carrier the phone number to the local post office...but once your letter has been picked up from the drop box it's going to be really hard to find it because it's taken to the main distribution center.
