Avoid this company. Last fall I moved into a home with a gas fireplace that didn't work. I called West Metro Appliance Repair to fix it. The technician recommended an expensive part replacement ($250) as a first step. However, after the technician left, I noticed that a wire was not connected, and once I'd reconnected it, the fireplace worked fine. I reached out to them and asked why basic troubleshooting steps, like checking wiring connections, had been skipped. Instead of just admitting the oversight and making it right, they defended their sloppy work. I don't know when the wire was disconnected--it could have been the previous owner or the home inspector. There is no way for me to know. But in the end, it was disconnected. It was a simple fix that I would've been happy to pay for if they had been the ones to do it. But they didn't--I did. So what I got for my $199 was a useless service call, a recommendation for an expensive and unnecessary part, and a condescending email. Learn from my costly mistake: Go with another company who will do the work right. You'll save a lot of money by not buying unnecessary parts and services.

Our dishwasher decided it was time to quit draining last week. My husband & I attempted to solve the issue ourselves, but it was too big of a job for us. I called West Metro Appliance Repair because of their excellent reviews, and it was definitely the right choice! Madeline answered the phone & did a great job with the intake, thoroughly answering all my questions. Cole showed up right on time to diagnose the issue. He even undid the mess my husband & I made (sorry, Cole!). He was super friendly, professional, and took a THOROUGH look at our dishwasher. The repair needed ended up being a good chunk of the dishwasher's worth (as I kind of expected), so we ultimately decided just to replace the whole thing. Dishwasher install isn't something they handle, but they referred me to a great install company! I couldn't be happier with the service I encountered and value we received. Highly recommend!

We were told our gas fireplace could not be repaired so we started pricing new ones. My husband called West Metro to see if they could look at it. They were very up front about the service charge to look at it feeling fairly sure they could fix it. Not only did they fixed it and clean, they upgraded it. It's literally like new again! All for hundreds instead of thousands! Highly recommend their service. They message you when they are on their way and when they arrive.
