My dog had a "dryer seizure" that should have NEVER happened. I had been taking my dog here for two years. When I met with the groomer prior to his first appointment, I let them know that my dog was afraid of the dryer and I didn't want them to dry him. They said they would prefer to dry him and could use the gentle kennel dryer and would keep an eye on him to make sure he was not distressed. We had that groomer a few times. After they were on leave, it was difficult to get an appointment when we needed, so we tried another groomer at Ollu. However, I did not realize that my request to not dry him or to use only the kennel dryer, did not make it to his file. Our first experience with this new groomer seemed OK, but our second experience was bad. After paying and tipping (because at Ollu they ask you to pay and tip before you see your dog), they let me know my dog had been "acting up" during the drying and had a "dryer seizure." I learned they were not using the kennel dryer, they were using the high powered table dryer which is very strong and very loud. I've seen my dog around these dryers and he is terrified the second they turn on...intense shaking and trying to jump off the table, trying to get away. So, when I witnessed this in the past, I simply turned the dryer off immediately and decided, well...not doing that again! Why they proceeded to dry him while he was terrified is beyond me. When asked what happened during this episode, they said he was “being vocal, seeming disoriented and he urinated [on himself].” SIDE NOTE: From my research and speaking with our vet, a "dryer seizure" is NOT a medical type of seizure, it is an extreme panic attack. As staff were telling me about this, I clearly was having a hard time processing. I thought of my dog who has experienced past trauma, being forced to be dried, to the point of having what I was being told was a "dryer seizure." I got teary eyed and told them I needed to leave. I went outside, held my dog, called my partner, and took a deep breath. I then called back to speak with the grooming manager over the phone. The first thing they said to me? “Well, UNFORTUNATELY I was trying to explain what happened to you and you decided to leave.” I spoke with the owner about the situation and they listened and offered generic condolences, but did not ask what they could do to make this right or what might help us feel better. This NEVER should have happened in the first place. If a groomer witnesses a dog that is fearful of the dryer, their compassion should kick in and they should turn the dryer off IMMEDIATELY…not continue drying them to the point of having an extreme panic attack. We will NEVER go here again. TLDR: verbal agreements about my dog’s safety were not recorded in his file, my dog had a "dryer seizure" or panic attack that was 100% preventable, management staff was not compassionate in this situation, I would not recommend Ollu’s grooming services to anyone.

Today's grooming was nothing less than perfection and love for my best buddy in the world. Ollu takes such good care of our pups and I continue to highly recommend this beautiful business and wonderful employees. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Ollu!!!!

Very friendly staff. My Shepard Husky mix sometimes gets nervous when I leave him at any appointments, but he's always got a great flow and a happy demeanor when he leaves Ollu. My first choice for years now. They give him an adorable bandana each time they groom him, which he wears proudly

Chief looks marvelous after his groom. Golden Retrievers can be tricky but he looks great! He loves to go to the groomer. He gets all cuddly and soft, before he goes outside looking for something to roll in, frozen or not.

I used to work there and we don't groom cats. The person that used to do thay stopped doing grooming of cats.
Hi Iris! Thank you for reaching out! If you're wanting to wash your dog yourself it would be $15. If we did the bath for you it would start at around $54 for a bath, brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning, and some trimming around the face, feet, and sanitary area. If you wanted a full haircut or other add-ons, it would go up from there.
They have a couple lower tubs, but I'd call ahead to see if you can make sure one is available when you're planning on going there.
