I started experiencing hair loss from age of 20, and had a severely receding hairline. When I reached my 30s, it became almost impossible to style my hair in a way that didn’t show the severe hair loss I was experiencing. Being in a customer service field and working with people in-person daily, I wanted a more vibrant/youthful look. Dr. Yazdan was highly recommended to me by a friend, and as soon as I met with him for the first time I knew he would be able to help me. The financial investment was steep, but I had confidence that it would be worth it. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From start to finish, Dr. Yazdan confidently walked me through each step to help me recover a flourishing head of hair. I had an FUE procedure that was super fast and smooth (taking less than 5 hrs). There was some slight discomfort, but Dr. Yazdan and his team were extremely professional and skilled at guiding me through the procecure. He really took his time and did not rush things, and the attention to detail definitely shows! I experience some pain during the first 2-3 weeks following the procedure, and then the next 2-3 months were tough as the new hairs were starting to grow, but there was very little progress to be seen. I also had 3 PRP injections spaced 1 month apart during this initial period. Somewhere towards the end of the 3rd month, the new hair started filling in and getting longer! I was very encouraged to see this, and it continued to get better every week after! I now have a full hairline / head of hair that looks completely natural and feels amazing! I may be biased, but I feel that Dr. Yazdan is the best hair surgeon in LA / OC area and one of the best if not the best in the country. You are definitely getting your money’s worth in choosing to work with him and his amazing team, and I would strongely recommend his service for all considering a hair transplant!

To anyone contemplating a hair transplant procedure I thoroughly recommend Dr. Amir Yazdan. From first consultation right through to aftercare, his service has been exceptional. The day of the surgery ran very smoothly and Dr. Yazdan carefully described every next step to me during the process. The operating team were all very professional and friendly.

10 months ago, I was turning 34, had lost a majority of the hair in my crown area and I was so self-conscious about it. Luckily my hairline hair was still strong, so I could wear it long and comb it over to cover up my bald crown. I decided I was too young for this and it was time to have a surgery. I had a few consults in the OC and LA area but I felt the most comfortable with Dr. Yazdan. I could tell Dr. Yazdan knew very well what he was doing and cared about each patient (unlike some of the big franchised offices where it felt cold and not personal). I liked his energy. I decided on the FUE procedure. Surgery was long but no pain during nor after. A few months later, the hair started growing slowly. Today, it's been 10 months and my shiny crown is gone! No sign that a surgery was ever done. My crown is full of hair and I can finally wear my hair shorter! I'm so happy I went forward with this and Dr. Yazdan was definitely the right choice. Can't wait to go in for my 1 year followup and compare the before and after pictures.

What was my motivation for getting this procedure done? I only needed one, the fact that I was balding and it was ruining my confidence on a daily basis. That if of course, until I met Dr. Yazdan. Being in my early 40's I definitely did not consider myself old just yet, but my receding hair line told a completely different story. So one day I was at the dentist and I made a comment about how my balding was bothersome, and I was told about Dr. Amir Yazdan and his work as a hair transplant surgeon. Now I had previously tried many other things to try and help my hair, shampoos, special diets, nothing was working. I knew surgery was an option, but I never truly started considering it until that day. Immediately after I went home, I started doing my research. I looked up several different doctors, made appointments, and looked at all the pictures of their results. One of the doctors I made an appointment with was Dr. Yazdan. When I got to his office it was clean, the staff was polite, and one of his previous hair transplant clients was in the waiting room. We struck up conversation while I waited, and not only was a so impressed with his results (he showed me a before picture), but he did nothing but sing the praises of Dr. Yazdan. So, I was looking forward to meeting the guy myself. During our initial consult, Dr. Yazdan was grade A! He answered all my questions before I even got to ask them, and told me everything I needed to know. Seeing his great portfolio, and his results in real life, helped encourage me to go forward with the procedure and I booked my appointment for surgery. Dr. Yazdan and his staff kept in touch with me leading up to my procedure, and following it. The surgery itself was lengthily though not as painful as I had anticipated. The doctor used a local numbing cream so I was able to stay awake during and even work a little in between. He had a team of several other people that were aiding him with everything, but the doctor stayed in the room the entire time and was very engaging. It has been over a year now since my hair transplant, I received about 2,500 grafts (and I know this to be accurate because the doctor had a counting device that showed me every time a graft was retrieved), and I honestly cannot remember the last time I looked and felt this great. I look younger, I feel much happier, and I have a full set of hair. Dr. Yazdan was the only option for me, and he was the best decision!
