Smart & Final Extra!

I come here often since I'm so close. Came across the laziest cashier today at Smart and Final. I purchased six 2 liter sodas, 1 package and chicken and 1 package of Twix. I asked for 2 sodas per bag please as I can't handle the weight of 3 sodas per bag. (due to my scoliosis and back pain) Instead she decided she didn't want to bag anything and just walked away after leaving bags for me after I had paid. I bagged up everything myself, slowing down the line. (except the chicken, that was the only thing she bagged). This cashier came on 2 customers ahead of me. First time that the cashier decided not to do their job. Maybe they should open up a self checkout if they want customers to bag up their own stuff so it doesn't slow down the line for everyone else waiting behind. The gentleman behind me had to ask the next cashier to please put his stuff in a bag for him. I was still bagging as he was getting rung up. If this is how your cashiers work, it's poor customer service.

Always has a little bit of everything and well-stocked. The associates are always very friendly and willing to assist. Good prices and very clean. Pretty good produce section. Lines can look gnarly at times but they usually move very quickly.

I really enjoyed the layout, and they had many of the brands I enjoy instead of favoring their store brand. Clean aisles and checkouts too.

This is my go to market they offer good deals, nice variety of quality products, and a friendly staff. I gave them 4 stars due to not having everything I’m looking for from time to time but I think that’s due to the troubles at the importation ports and all the backup that has been going on there. I highly recommend giving Smart and Final a chance.
