Beautiful Hike as always! I've done it hundreds of time. It Can get busy at times, you can hike to the top of the mountain past the M if you want a great hike in as well!!

INCREDIBLE VIEW, SCENERY, And Relaxing! Highly recommend this for anyone. The exercise, the air, the sense of freedom, and you get a great view of the Montana Grizzlies stadium. So , come on what are you waiting for? Get off the couch , put down the Game system and treat yourself to a experience you will never forget! Many trails to choose from as well!

This is a great, semi strenuous hike up to the iconic M on the side of Mt. Sentinel bordering the east side of the Univ. of Montana campus. Multiple switch backs and a tiring shorter 30-45 minutes hike. You can go on up to the top of Mt. Sentinel but should allot 3 hours? Free parking at the bottom. 8 minutes off of I 90.

About 400-450 km from Yellowstone to Missoula. The weather in December is often -5 C to 5 C and there can be light to moderate snow on the trail.
