We lived near the Mexican border for ten years, so are pretty picky about Mexican food. Hubby and I were surprised by how much we enjoyed this meal. His carnitas were flavorful, my pollo feliz was great, too (chicken, chorizo, cheese sauce and shrimp. Yes, please!) Service was quick, and servers were very friendly and helpful to everyone

Just after the absolute best Mexican meal I’ve had in a long time. Very authentic and delicious. I had one of the house specials and I guarantee you the next time I’m headed this way I’ll be stopping in again. The service was very friendly and the place was clean. Selection was hard to choose from.

Flip Out

If you’re on I-35, passing through Perry, this is a great place to eat. We started with their beef dip which was great. In addition to the standard salsa, they had 2 other spicier salsas that had amazing flavor. These salsas will drain your sinuses but aren’t so spicy that you can no longer taste your meal. What looks like finely diced carrot is actually habanero pepper so just be aware: they are spicy salsas. I had a combo plate with a tostada, burrito, and enchilada. I really enjoyed the queso sauce and how they prepared the meat. The sides of rice and beans were also good. Mrs. Flip Out tried the chimichanga and really liked it. Little Flip Out loved his taco. Definitely great Mexican food at Mariachi Mexican Grill and you will enjoy your meal.
