I live in Bville but was attending an event in BA... when my husband asked me where I wanted to dine I said El Tequila and I want their carnitas!! When we got there the place was bustling and I was not surprised. I have had lunch there and I have always had a very nice experience. When my waite r asked what we wanted I asked for carnitas and I specifically asked if the carnitas were fresh and he said yes......I know carnitas and what they should look like...they were not. When I ask for the manager you get the feeling that it's my fault and that I should have sent it back....I guess it's a sign of the times. We ordered a flan and it was delicious!

The meal I ordered had tortillas with it. They brought me two. I had way more food than could go into just two tortillas. So after I used the 2 they brought I asked for more. They brought me 2 more. When paying, I noticed they charged me for the 2 'extra' they brought. .84 cents for 2 small tortillas. I know .84 cents isn't anything to cry about, but come on....

I have been many places in Mexico and I have ate many molcajetes. This place has one of the best molcajetes I've ever had. I posted pictures of their menu. If any of the pictures seemed a little crooked, it may have been the tequila?
