Amazing location, views and space for picnics and parties. We had 70+ people in Area 8. Plenty of grills and tables as well! Convenient parking if you are there before noon..

Stunning place to see the sunset and people fishing

Small but has amazing view. It is well maintained, with clean chairs and nice barbecue place. Worth the money!

Lovely park. It was very clean. I was impressed. Parking was reasonable. The pier was clean. There are lots of amenities, chairs, grills, benches, and faucets. There is a fish cleaning station on the pier. I saw 4 deer walking through the park. It was a serene morning and I enjoyed connecting with nature. Some people swim in the bay waters, which were choppy that morning. There is a small beach area with a rough shoreline. There was a hazard sign stating there is broken glass in the sand. Overall the park was well-maintained. There was a groundskeeper performance maintenance. I would definitely return when I revisit Marin County.

No definitely not. There are signs clearly posted. Rangers will enforce the rule too. However there are plenty of dog walking opportunities near by.
No you do not need a license for any public piers for fishing.
It's uphill. So you park on top and walk down about 5 minutes not far at all. If you want to go to the small beach it's down some steps on the other side still very near by. No wheel chair access on beach. But to go down to pier it's down hill sidewalk.
Yes, you can swim in the bay. The water is often very cold, but you can access the water from the small beach.
Yes it does multiple spots
No, only Rock crab
For live bait: Western Boat and Tackle in San Rafael. 555 Francisco Blvd E suite 24, San Rafael, CA 94901

Mitten crabs or rock. But no dungies. More of a pier for halibut stripers and sturgeon
