This was probably my first time eating 100% vegan food at a vegan restaurant! It was great, but if I ordered the pasta again, I would ask to leave the pesto out or on the side. It was a bit much for me. Other than that, this was a really nice place and experience for me.

This place surprised us in so many ways. Due to some unforeseen circumstances i had to try vegetarian food one day and having read rave reviews about this establishment we went ahead and tried it. Not a single dish was uninspiring. Everything we ordered, from the tofu burgers to the chickpea gyros(they call it hero for some reason) and the cashew paste mac and cheese, was a perfect blend of taste, texture and flavours. The decor is urban chic and the seating is sufficiently socially distanced. Our party of 6 was mighty impressed by the food we got. They really are on top of their vegan game here

I had the BEST first experience at Modern Love for lunch today! The 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗽𝗲𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼 might just be the best “chicken” parmesan sandwich I’ve ever had!!! I’m not kidding. The chickpea patty was so crispy and flavorful and the “mozzarella” was so creamy, melty, and delicious… I can’t even describe how mesmerized I was with it. Definitely the BEST thing we ordered!!! My second favorite thing we ordered had to be the 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘀. Again… NOT REAL PARMESAN?! HOW?! It was the creamiest, most delicious garlicky “cheese” sauce, and it perfect complimented the Brussel sprouts. As someone who puts grated Parmesan on her veggies almost every night, I’M SHOCKED I couldn’t taste a difference. I would drink that sauce with a straw. We also ordered the 𝗡𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗰 & 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗲𝘄 which had cashew cheddar mac sauce, walnut chorizo, pico, avocado, pickled jalapeños, and cilantro. Again the “cheese” was unbelievable. And the walnut “chorizo” tasted JUST like the real thing. I really want to try the classic mac next time! We also got a 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱 that was one of the most beautiful plated salads I’ve ever been served. Peep the mini salt and pepper shakers in that pic. So cute! Our server was so on top of it and incredibly helpful with suggestions for our first time. I seriously can’t rave enough about Modern Love. Yet another local establishment I wish I had tried sooner! And the place was HOPPING at peak lunch time which made me so happy to see. If you haven’t already, go check them out and be equally mesmerized in how they trick your tastebuds. I’m going to start working my way through the rest of their sandwiches.

I've been vegan for five years and Modern Love has been my favorite vegan spot for three of those years. I absolutely love it. It's worth the three-four hour drive for me. The food is incredible and I hope to someday have everything on the menu. This time around, I had the eggplant parmesan, mozzarella balls, and a strawberry shake. It was absolutely the best vegan meal I've had for as long as I can remember. I'm almost definitely going to drive up there again soon, if only for this amazing food. Absolutely recommend it. No matter how far out of your way it might be, go to Modern Love!

To go is available as well. However, not all items may be available for take out
They haven't in my experience. But plenty of options still! They have great gluten free mac and shews
I believe they may validate parking if you use garage as well. They have in the past anyways. Enjoy!
You can call ahead and request oil free and/or WFPB options
Not sure about oil but she's got about 10 cooking books that are amazing! I got 2 off of Amazon already!
