We somehow made a 4hr trip into a 9 hour trip and towards the end, a storm started developing, the wind picked up and the sky began to darken. When bolts of lightning decended from the clouds, we knew we were in trouble. Thankfully we made it to our destination in the nick of time, before the storm arrived. Best day ever!!!!

I would give them a call to see if the Elkhorn river is open. All access areas have been closed because of high water.
I would say so if the dog is trained correctly and wont be ranbunctious
