The facility is Very run down, there doesn't appear to be Any upgrading or improvements being done. Only basic repairs. Such a potentially beautiful facility.

A common venue for Dog Shows where you can see and pet 200+ dog breeds without much walking. Usually very well organized, parking $0-$10 with free entrance. Mix of shade and sun, restrooms, taco truck(s) and a Sheriff's substation on the grounds. A great place to spend half a day for the whole famy.

This experience is for multiple visits to this place. I have win here for car shows and other events. My most recent visit was for the cove vaccine. The staff was generally organised and I did feel relatively safe. Overall this is a good environment and plenty of parking. Make sure you bring extra clothes if you have to sit as it may get chilly inside tents.

The fairgrounds hosts many different events besides the County Fair, so it varies. The annual Woof-Stock dog show in early June, opened to vendors and dog 🐕 contestants at 6am, and to public at 7:30am. It was free to the public, except the county charges for parking at all events.

Only when Six Flags' lot is full they start directing cars to park at fairgrounds & only then six flags has a money collector at booth for parking there that gives you a receipt to leave on dashboard of car.
