A bad start turned good. We arrived 25 minutes till 9 pm Friday night, 25 minutes before the last call for food (according to their policy). We walked in to sit down, not realizing that you have to be seated by a host, we were greeted by a frustrated host who explained that there was a line waiting to be sat and they are simply too busy to seat any more tables now, but I was welcome to go to the bar to order a beer... We drove an hour and a half to have dinner there and of course some beer but It wasn't pleasant to hear that I couldn't eat now after that drive, esp when it was clearly still within their timeline. So, of course I expressed frustration of my own then walked off, debating just leaving to eat somewhere else. After a few more minutes the host walked over to my wife and said that someone had just canceled their place in line and that they would seat us. I was admittedly angry about how that situation was handled but at least we were able to sit and order food so thank you. Thank you staff for stepping up to make a first impression. The food was amazing! (Although the margarita pizza was literally just a standard cheese pizza with strips of basil leaves... Smh) and the beer was perfection as always.

Drove 2 hrs one way, waited for 2.5 hrs. on a Mon afternoon. The first sip of Pliny the Younger told me it was worth it! Great vibe. Met locals and folks who had flown in from places afar. Friendly service, good food! Nick was wonderful! I'm ready for the next year. :-)

World class beer venue. A bit of Mecca I’d say. Russian River brew some incredible beers, including benchmarks for certain styles. They have a large range of beer styles on offer. They also do great pizza. Their prices offer impressively good value. Nice venue. Can get quite busy at times so plan accordingly. I really hope to get back here some day because the place really is something special.

Food was good. Service was excellent but the beers were disappointing. This place was a long time bucket list destination for me but the tasting the beers on the California ales flight ($15) were not worthy especially the lighter ones. Even Pliny the Elder was flat amongst several others. Wish I could've tasted the Younger but not available.

Yes. They've posted that the employees and brewery are safe. Brewery is open.
Not sure about prices and availability in your area
Best during the daytime for families, with little ones it can be a bit hectic later in the evenings. It is a great atmosphere and totally fine for kids but the more crowded it gets the more toddlers to tweens may feel trapped.
They wouldn't want their beer misrepresented by the label on the growler.
Its sold out started online at 11am today. Many are saying it was rigged. I was in line to check out and website knocked me it and said sold out.
Supposed to available in February with very limited quantities.
There should be a number you can call on the card that will have you enter the pin on the back of the card. If not, you can always go to the brewery and have them check. Cheers and hope you enjoy the Brewery
No Sebastopol location. Though, Seismic Brewing, Golden State Cider and Woodfour have tap rooms in Sebastopol at the Barlow.
5g is better
There are quite a few hotels downtown Santa Rosa that are close to the brewery. I would probably recommend Googling it to see what is available when you want to visit.
Sure, there camp sites along the Russian River. Enjoy!
You gotta pay.
I don't think so, due to ABC rules. But you should call the brewery to be sure.
Yes. As long as they remain on a leash.
Within next a weeks. Soft opening next week.
You'll probably have to buy it separately and then mix it yourself but they will be nice about it.
Website, Pliny the Younger. Go very early, expect a line, the beer is worth it.
From their website:. We have made some positive changes which reduced wait times and kept the line moving, albeit slowly, but better than years past! There is now a 3 hour/3 Younger maximum to ensure that our guests will get in sooner. This new policy has cut wait times by up to 4 hours on the first weekend! But still plan on waiting especially if you are coming on a weekend, sometimes up to 8 hours. And if it rains, as it generally does in February, we will be forced to close our outdoor patio reducing our available seating. There are 2 things we simply cannot control: the weather, and how many people will show up to our pub in February. Our pub's capacity is 135 people (at least that's what the sign on the wall says!). Younger is served in a 10oz. glass with a maximum of 3 per person. We are bound by law to promote the responsible consumption of alcohol and may NOT serve anyone who is obviously intoxicated. This beer is only available for on-premise consumption.
They are collared today, Monday for the fire.
No I don't believe so. Although in general the beer can be shipped. So if you have a friend local they can send it at least.
