Nice, clean with extra friendly staff. Much pricier than surrounding grocery stores, but has a much wider selection. LOTS of healthy & diet restrictive foods. Gluten free section was impressive. As well as vegan & vegetarian selections. Starbucks inside as well as a newly added WAHLBURGERS! Has fresh Bakery, Deli, Seafood, Floral departments. I believe it also has a drive thru pharmacy. Again, pricey but I really was impressed with the huge selection of foods.

Don't come to Hy-Vee if you expect service. I've been a loyal Hy-Vee customer my whole life. Since they installed checkouts that switch between self checkout and staffed checkout, there is rarely anyone actually working checkout. When you ask about it, they always say they're understaffed. Seems like that was by design. The district manager said they would always have two checkout lines staffed with employees. Seems like that was a lie. I think there may be a staffed checkout 10% of the time. If there is a staffed checkout line it's slammed with customers who want a person to do it. I loathe Kroger-owned chains, but I'm switching to Dillons for the foreseeable future.

Got my latest 5g update and the employees were awfully kind. Now a poem for my lovely hy-vee brothers, sister, and inbetwisters Hy-vee, even at our low-vee’s you’re there for us, through thick-vee and thin-vee you have strived to keep our conveniences close and our conveniences even closer. So for my closing remarks I would like to say, what’s the deal with airline food?

It wasn’t bad. The workers were friendly and the store was clean. The parking lot is a little funny to get in and out of and the prices were reasonable. There is a decent selection of brands and such. I would be glad to go back.
