I got the shrimp with cashew nuts lunch special. My order was prepped really quickly. The lunch special came with a choice of egg drop soup/hot sour soup and white rice/brown rice. I opted for the egg drop soup and brown rice. They didn't charge extra for brown rice unlike some other places. The shrimp stuff came with cashew, celery and carrots. The dish was a little bland itself, but there were generous servings of shrimp. The egg drop soup was also kind of bland and the color was an orange yellow. Maybe there wasn't enough egg added in. Edible, but not the best egg drop soup I've ever had. While this isn't the place to go if you're looking for exceptional food, it achieves it's purpose in filling up an empty stomach in a pinch. Overall, good value for the lunch special.

What bother me about this visit was one if the cook pull down his mask to chat with another cook while that cook was making my meal. He wipe his hand over his face nose mouse and continue to work work without cleaning the hand. Only when he made eye contact with me he pull the mask back on. This came as a recommendation from a stranger in the park. Granted I am Asian so my taste bud does not approve the quality/$ this place provides. We ordered the three meat BBQ its eatable not very good, does not have the spices that were used in more authentic Chinese restaurant. Since its called the Noodle Shop so I ordered the fried flat noodle with beef. It lacks taste and the 'wok-hei' that suppose to go into this dish. However the noodle itself was tender just the seasoning is poor. The beef is plenty but poorly cut and seasoned. I found a long piece of beef that were pounded thin but not cut. Stir fried should have bit size pieces so it cook properly in wok. Vegetarian rice noodle was .... You can skip.

I'm struggling to provide a proper evaluation of my experience. I believe there was a misunderstanding with the instructions I added to my order via the app. I ordered my food through the app which was easy and convenient. The app worked great without any glitches. I ordered the three meat lunch special with brown rice ($11.95). The three meats I chose were roast pork, pork ribs and crispy chicken. I chose the brown rice over white rice. I also chose the Hot and sour soup over the egg drop soup. I wish fried rice and wonton soup were options but they were not. I added a little note asking that no additional salt be added to the meal. I think that's where the problem started. The liquid the meat floated in was very very salty. It was almost inedible. A bed of spinach rested underneath the meat in the liquid. That also soaked up the salty flavor. The meat was extremely fresh and tender. I just couldn't tasted them over the salt. I ran the meat and spinach under cold water. That helped a lot. I could taste the true flavor of the meat. I may consider trying this location again. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume the saltiness was just a misunderstanding. I will remember to leave out any special notes.

Delicious food, I'd say 75% on authenticity, but still very tasty. This is a nicely done up space with efficient and friendly service and very good prices. They welcome you, ask you if there's a seat you like and generally don't make you wait long for anything. My glass of water never got empty. Service was always with a smile.
