Probably the worst post office in the inland empire I am not being dramatic. Always long lines the cashiers are rude. If they make a mistake they make it seem like it is your fault and are very unhappy to help you out.

I would like to file a formal complain my packages keep being held because there’s no safe location to deliver I’ve never had this issue before I just think the carriers are being lazy.

Colton Usps office is very unprofessional, and rude! If you have a problem with an item getting delivered they’ll treat you badly even though it’s their fault an item doesn’t show up! Then they’ll ask you not to file a claim because it’s bad for them! I’m not kidding! They complained that I filed a lost item case!!!!! That’s how unprofessional they are. They go loosing a packet and then don’t want to help you find it, or take responsibility for loosing it! If you have the option to go to a different post office, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! Better yet, use UPS, FedEx!

Yes, passport services are available by appointment only . Only first time passports and minor passports are processed by appointment. Renewals can be mailed in with no appointment needed. Appointments can be made online at USPS.COM
I checked the address and although the mail box is broke there is no mail here today for that address.
As long as you drop it off before 5pm it will be processed same day.

Hopefully there is a return address where it can come back on your envelope. Depending on where it is going, it is hard to discern if it ever will come back because the recipient would have to return it with paid postage. So maybe you can contact you billing department and ask for another bill or pay on-line. There are a few options and possibilities.
Lobby hours for Colton Post office is 6am to 6pm Monday - Saturday. Retail is closed Saturdays.
You should contact your local post office and find out why the letter Carrier didn't complete the delivery. They should tell you why, and if there is a problem you need to correct so you can receive your mail. Also notify your credit card companies as soon as possible about the problem.
The counter opens at 830 . That's when the clerks are at the counter. The lobby is open earlier for p.o. box holders .
