Oxxshire Creamery & Specialty Foods

We started a 'soft' opening in June of 2016, with limited hours and limited days. But we have slowly added to that after we moved up here. Although soon after we opened we became a dead-end road temporarily for over a year while a bridge was closed for safety reasons. So our first 'official' year was actually last year and we continue to expand this year. As for why we opened, we started as a dual-family 50 acre farm with a project to open a creamery to make, sell, and ship cheese. During construction we saw a huge need to support our local and surrounding communities with bulk foods, cheese, and outlet foods. We require full face masks per the CDC and NYS dept of health regulations. We have hand sanitizer available for all customers and employees. We are limiting occupancy as needed to ensure proper distancing. We use medical grade HEPA plus air filters, UVC light treatment, and daily sanitation of all customer surfaces including doors. We offer parking lot pickups for our website orders and home deliveries of our monthly catalog orders.

Hi Tina! We celebrate #FreshCurdFridays so our cheese curd come local and fresh every Friday. You can see updates on our FB page. We don't make ours yet but we also have a Manufacturing FB page to follow one of our 2 creameries that once it's operating we will be making our own whole milk, low salt, creamy fresh curd right on site probably multiple times a week!
