Kingsville Motel

I recently stayed at moms the Kingsville Motel to come in for one week to see family. Upon arrival the front desk attendant was very nice kind and courteous and even gave me some great recommendations for places to eat locally. How ever after approximately two days I started to notice that I was getting bumps on my skin that were itching badly. Later on in the evening my sister came back over as we were eating dinner in my room we noticed a bug crawling up the side of the bed she said oh no that looks like a bedbug we tried to grab it but it ran away. I really didn’t put too much thought into it until I woke up the next morning and I had been in several different locations. I contacted the front desk and I was told that the attendant couldn’t handle this particular situation that she would contact the owners and they would be here shortly to talk with me. Upon their arrival the owner was exceptionally rude, turned down the covers and all but said “I was lying about the ordeal” and then they proceeded to kick me out of their establishment after showing them the bites. They literally gave me an hour and a half to get things out of the room all while trying to find another vacancy at a different motel. They did give me a Refund but for only one day. Also on two different occasions My sister was questioned About who she was there to see and why. In conclusion I do NOT recommend anyone Stay at the Kingsville Motel. *I do however recommend eating and dining at the local restaurants located directly beside the motel called Kay’s Place, the food there is amazing and the workers are more than friendly.

Asked for a the cleanest smoking room and the lady gave us room 18. It had to of been The smallest room there was. Could barely even turn around in there. No refrigerated and when we called to ask for a room with a fridge, she said none were available. But them we find out that there were only 7 out if the 18 rooms occupied. Every time we go there for a room, we get a crappy one that has SOMETHING not working.

This is not a modern place but it is CLEAN. And when I say clean I really mean clean. There wasn't a smudge or hair anywhere. I stayed with my five year old and I will be back when I make this trip again. It was budget friendly and the clerk was wonderful.

Clean, good price. Stayed with two kids and were comfortable. Neat retro exterior, could use more retro touches in the rooms. I'm picky and would stay again. Love having my car right outside my door.
