I lived in a small town in China for 4 years. It's so great to see so many of the items that we saw in our day today life. The store is clean, well organized, and stocked with so many delightful items to look at.

BEWARE: Elderly and family of the elderly BEWARE. This place claims that they accept EBT but I’ve personally witness them take advantage of the older retired community by accepting them selectively. One day my friend and her grandma who uses EBT who frequents this grocery tried to pay EbT and they told her it wasn’t working - they told her to pay with other method - grandma got upset - so they started to guilt her into buy items with cash after ringing her up. At that point my friend was upset so she came in defense of her grandma; the cashier freaked out realizing her grandmother wasn’t alone. She attempted to get the manager and call him out - the cashier literally had to say on behalf of him “he doesn’t want to talk to you about this” . That coward knew what he was doing and ignored his customer in facing the issue. BEWARE this place of business is not safe. If your system is actually down - communicate to your customers ahead of time - don’t bully a customer base that can’t defend themselves. Shame on management and the cashier that protected them.

Bought fresh egg noodles today, and it was moldy.. very disappointed. Wish there were expiration dates on the packaging as the mold was inside and not able to be seen through the packaging.

Must go to fill up your trip, or while staying / living in Irvine, CA. Slightly better than another one (in Irvine) just a couple miles away, this store was located in a shopping mall packed with good restaurants in the city. And the market also provided many delicious choices, from bakery to lunch options. Pretty much one stop for anyone loves or likes to try Chinese food.
