I think this Home Service sucks! I paid for a 24/7 coverage and was without a fridge for over 3 weeks!! The phone system is ridiculous, you can’t even get through to an agent unless you want to buy something! They have you pushing buttons and pushing buttons and then it ends up hanging up on you, so frustrating!! All I wanted to do is talk to someone. Sears customer service has gone down the drain as far as I’m concerned. To tell you the truth, I’m sorry I renewed my coverage. When this is up, I am done. I will tell all my friends, never purchase from Sears appliances, they have the worst warranty and support. You can call me and I’ll tell you all about it. Never again, 24/7 my arse!

Very interesting as they did not post the first review I sent. Do not use Sears repair service for your water heater. I called as the information on my Kenmoore water heater said it still had a warranty on parts and labor. When I called Sears they said that it was stilll under warranty for the parts but not the labor. They assured me the total charge would be $99 for the labor. The guy comes out and tears the lower unit apart and then told my wife it needed a flushing also. She texted me and I said no, it was flushed at the end of March. Sure enough the repair person admitted it was clean clear water as he went ahead and flushed it. Then the technician said that its $249 as he had to put it back together which is not what we were quoted. The tech said to just complain as "they do it all the time." Over an hour after the technician left we recieved an email that is signed with an "X" not our signature for an estimate of $249. On the lower portion of the "estimate" it clearly states that in Ca a written estimate is required beforehand.. I have been calling Sears every four days and each time they have no reference of my previous calls, switch me to other departments, provide me with 800 numbers that are busy or voicemails that are full and always have no information of any previous calls. Every CS person apologises and they see the signature with an X and understand this is not LEGAL and promises a refund but again, they are very sorry but they do not see a refund being processed. One CS person said she was sending me a copy of the refund to my email. Two hours later I called the 800 number back and a different person said they unfortunately can never send an email. I was also asked to send an email to Sears and provided the address and never recieved a response and lastly, asked for a supervisor to call back by chat and never got a call.

I would give the technicians five start. The technicians who came to my house to fix the broken appliance were cordial, respectful and knowledgeable. They know what they were doing and got the job done in no time. I am giving ZERO Stars (not an option so had to give them one star) because .... Initially i had to wait 2 weeks to get an appointment and guess what it was a no show. They did not even care to let me know that they will not be able to make that appointment. I had to call in again and get a new appointment for no mistake of mine and i had to wait 2 more weeks. The Tech shows up and had to order parts that was one more week before the appliance was up and running. FIVE to SIX weeks to fix an appliance is not acceptable by any standard. The customer service reps were cordial but were not taking responsibility for the no show and I ended up waiting for 5 to 6 weeks. 12/26/2017 It happened again. Second time.... this is absolute nonsense. Please do not fall for this SCAM.....

I called Sears to fix my washer that had a connectivity fault in the electronics. At the time of the call, they up-sold me to $50 a year with a $75/visit charge to cover all major appliances in my home. I asked several times to ensure this was true as it seemed a good deal. It took them three visits to fix a relatively simple problem, but that's ok. About three months later, I noticed that they had been charging us $50 a month, not $50 a year!! They completely lied to me when the signed us up. AND they won't let me cancel without a $99 fee. AND they won't even give me someone to talk to about it. Told me that we could write a letter to the corporation. They are a complete scam. Completely misrepresented themselves. Flat out lied and won't work with you to fix it. Don't use them!!!
